Foundation of Marvin
The origins of Magna Pars date back to 1940, when Vincenzo Martone created in Milan, with the merger of his initials, Marvin, a company specialized first in the pharmaceutical and then in cosmetics sector.

1975
ICR: perfumes for Italian designers
Vincenzo’s son, Roberto Martone, founded in 1975 ICR Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite, starting to create and produce perfumes for important Italian designers and brands, including Bulgari, Gianfranco Ferré, Gianni Versace, Nazareno Gabrielli, Nicola Trussardi, Renato Balestra, Romeo Gigli, Salvatore Ferragamo.
In 1987, the ICR factory was expanded and moved from Milan to Lodi and the historic Milanese headquarters was converted into a location for events, with the Latin name Magna Pars. -
2013
Magna Pars the first and only Hotel à Parfum in the world
In 2013, Roberto’s daughters, Giorgia and Ambra Martone, chose to celebrate and share their family’s passion for fragrance by transforming Magna Pars into the world’s first five-star Hotel à Parfum and founding LabSolue, its Perfume Laboratory.
