Il Cavallo mutilato è parte della mostra itinerante Lapidarium, inaugurata a Roma nel 2016 e conclusa a Città del Messico nel 2018, che attraversa i continenti per parlare di tolleranza e diritti dell’uomo. Ogni installazione, nel corso del tour mondiale delle esposizioni, arricchisce la collezione fino a completarla in occasione dell’ultimo evento con la presentazione di 100 sculture monumentali. Cavalli mutilati che esprimono, nella loro gravità, il tema sempre attuale e scottante dell’emergenza migratoria. Un monumento ai “vinti” di oggi e del passato: i popoli dell’Africa, Ebrei, Armeni, Curdi e tutti gli esseri umani che fuggono dalle guerre e persecuzioni. Sculture uniche, che non prevedono multipli, ogni scultura evoca un frammento della storia dell’Uomo, creando e offrendo a tutti noi uno spazio di riflessione nel silenzio.

Il Cavallo mutilato è parte della mostra itinerante Lapidarium, inaugurata a Roma nel 2016 e conclusa a Città del Messico nel 2018, che attraversa i continenti per parlare di tolleranza e diritti dell’uomo. Ogni installazione, nel corso del tour mondiale delle esposizioni, arricchisce la collezione fino a completarla in occasione dell’ultimo evento con la presentazione di 100 sculture monumentali. Cavalli mutilati che esprimono, nella loro gravità, il tema sempre attuale e scottante dell’emergenza migratoria. Un monumento ai “vinti” di oggi e del passato: i popoli dell’Africa, Ebrei, Armeni, Curdi e tutti gli esseri umani che fuggono dalle guerre e persecuzioni. Sculture uniche, che non prevedono multipli, ogni scultura evoca un frammento della storia dell’Uomo, creando e offrendo a tutti noi uno spazio di riflessione nel silenzio.
